2008 RXportfolio Challenge

About the Challenge

In an effort to potentially raise money for local chapters as well as create awareness on RXportfolios (electronic portfolios for the pharmacy profession), RXinsider is challenging the pharmacy fraternities and sororities to sign up as many pharmacy students, faculty and graduates as possible by April 20.

For the top two Schools of Pharmacy who create the most RXportfolio accounts by April 20, their local fraternity and sorority chapters will split a $2000 honoraria.

Rules

• Your local fraternity/sorority MUST be registered prior to April 10th to be eligible for the honoraria split.
• In fairness to smaller schools, the TWO top schools will be determined as a ratio of the total number of new RXportfolios to total student body.
• All new RXportfolio accounts must be unique.
  (duplicates will not be counted)
• New portfolios must contain content in at least one category.
  (empty portfolios will not be counted)
• Portfolio accounts must be created by the following groups:
  • Pre-Pharmacy Students
  • Pharmacy Students
  • School of Pharmacy Faculty and Administrators
  • Graduates from the School of Pharmacy

Your Tools for Success

1. Create your own personal RXportfolio

2. Email Students...
   Send out an email twice a week to remind the entire College of Pharmacy student body about the challenge:

   Send out a weekly email to school faculty:

4. Email Grads & Preceptors...
   Send out a weekly email to preceptors and other graduates
5. Print and disseminate multiple copies of the following flyer:
   PDF Download
   • Post on bulletin boards
   • Place in student and faculty mailboxes
   • Handout in class, at events, or at chapter meetings
6. Word of mouth! 
   Make announcements in class, at meetings, at college-sponsored events, etc.
7. Comment on social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook, chat rooms, blogs, etc.)
   Leave comments to all your friends with a brief description of the RXportfolio Challenge and a link to RXportfolios
8. Be sure to inform students about the 2008 National Achievement Award opportunity!
